A description that felt true and one that shed a different light on a conversation, between a granddaughter and her grandmother, I was witnessing at the time. The result was an object with which I wanted to explore the relationship between women/girls and the image they have of themselves. How this image is also - not only - created through the influence of other woman in their lives.
